Falls Fishing Report

Well made it out the the falls today. We fished the lower let out. Started about 9:30 and fished till 12:30. Caught about 15 nice hybrids. Fish were in the jumps just outside the white water. Most fish taken on Zara Spooks in shad color or greee with silver bottom. Took one using 1 1/2 oz bucktail jig with white grub. Tied that one myself!!! Two biggest fish went just over 9 lbs; 3 just short of 7lbs; and one about 4lbs.(Yes we threw some back) All in all it was a great day! I posted some pictures in the photo forum. And as a side note I got to do my first "treblehookdectomy" on my buddy. Got it stuck real good in the shin. Wish I had some pictrures of that too.

Congrats! I've missed the hybrids my last few trips. Hope to hit some soon...they are a blast.

Yeah, an open invitation to the entire city of Louisville to fish your spot with you. Last year was nuts after all the pictures people started to post. I've never seen an average of 3 boats a day change to 15 boats at the dam after a good ol' fishing report.
