Morning all, I will be down to the resort on Ky. lake this weekend. Is there anywhere I could wet a line with the kids from the bank? I really don't care what we catch just something to bend their rod.
Gills--> worms?
cats--> ch. livers?
thanks in advance![]()

I'll give up my "honey hole" since kids are involved.As your driving up to the lodge on the right you will see a road that leds down to cabins,its set up like a cul-de-sac.Park down there and walk down the trail to the Lake..you'll see where a dock used to be.Cast out any type of worm,cricket or minnow and hang on.Hope you have lots of luck.Charlie is dead on...There are many good fishing spots off of the walls near the boat ramp/marina,you might want to try some catfish bait at this spot.
In addition to the worms for bluegill, try wax worms. My nieces and nephews call wax worms "crack for bluegills". You may not get the largest fish with the wax worms, but they will bite all day long. Once you are catching bluegills, cut some of the smaller ones up and use as catfish bait.
I appreciate all the info, will give those a try. Gonna be a scorcher over the weekend, everyone stay cool and safe!
thanks
Energy lake, you can catch a thousand gills quick, grab some crickets
