    Taylorsville lake conditions

Thinking about going to t-ville sat night or sunday morning. Anybody know if the water is muddy or debris is floating ? Lake level shows to be less than a foot over summer pool. Thanx for any info. Jc

Fished Wed night, water didn't have a lot of color to it but had a bunch of debris down toward the **** and around the banks. Nothing big out in the middle that I saw before sundown anyways.

I was there Frirday night. The water wasn't stained too bad and I was showing a temp of 82 degrees. Fishing as others put it was dead.

The ramp was a little slow when I got there due to someone launching their boat on the ramp instead of in the lake. Here is what it looked like when I got there. http://www.lakewoode.com/pic/boat_on_ramp.jpg

The situation is embarassing enough but have it happen in front of 30 boats full of people who know you takes the cake. The guy will probably never live it down. It's nice to see the generosity of the people around helping to get the boat back on the trailer.

Wow! And to think someone made a comment on this board a while back about it being near impossible to do that. I always unhook at the water. I have those Teflon strips on my trailer and simply have to stick the tips of the rails in the water to get the boat on and off the trailer.

    Re: Taylorsville lake conditions

Yea , there was a thread on here a few days ago about unhooking your boat and being ready at the ramp to save time for hurried boaters , and that a boat would'nt slip off the trailer ! I bet this guy wished he'd taken the time to unhook at the waters edge ! I have a good freind who did the same thing at Cumberland State Park with his $40,000 Ranger Bass boat an he always unhooks at the waters edge now . Common sence is the main thing on the ramps.........
