Anyone see any of the NON released abu-grab pics?

I have a lib friend.......not too sure how much of a friend after his latest outburst, but any rate here is the jist.

Lots of military and EX military here.......this guy.....basically compared our troops to Nazi's with regards to the treatment in abu-grab.

I SHUT him down, and told him he was about to END our friendship, and I was going to KICK HIS BUTT (which I'm sure I can easily) with that type of BS comparison.

Here is his reasoning, and this guy is one of the smartest guy I know.....was that our troops allowed attack dogs to rip the "privates" off of prisoners....He said it was all over the internet......

I called him on it.........handed him my blackberry and said......FIND THEM. Well, he never did.......

Question is.......Have you guys EVER seen anything like that.....or heard of anything like that.

The only thing I could find was bite marks on the backside of a prisoner, and those were discussed in FULL in the abu-grab briefings....

I don't want this thread to turn into a hatefest thread, so if you have something to share that is not appropriate, or whatever, or you want to SCREAM at me.......do so back channel.

Man I hate to say this, we have such a colorful relationship. Butttttttttt...............

I agree with ya Geo. When that story broke I was all over the net to see the extent of the claims and support for the claims of abuse. I agree I've never found anything as graphic as alledged by your bud. And.......man I hateeeeee saying this........I thank you for almost kicking his butt. Yep our kids in camo sometimes do things wrong, but far more often they do what's right and are doing things voluntarily and with a positive oulook that most would never consider doing for their country. I too get red fast when those gallant kids get bad mouthed unless clear and conclusive evidence in support is provided. And I agree, anyone comparing any US soldier of any branch to a NAZI needs to be called on the carpet and asked to put up or shut up.

Nope......but come from a family RICH in military history.....Pretty much everyone has served but me .

Actually I had an appointment to the military academy, and REALLY wanted to serve, but at the time, I really wanted something "flying".

I qualified in every respect, EXCEPT for my bad eyes, and even correctible with questionable surgery, I'd probably NEVER fly, so I went a different way.

I don't regret what I did, but sometimes I wish I had served.

My dad retired after 30 years, both brothers, my sister, uncles.....and about 1/2 dozen cousins.....All served. I have one cousin out of Ft Campbell currently in Afghanistan....

Our troops NO MATTER HOW YOU FEEL.....deserve our respect....PERIOD.

I saw some unreleased photos a few months back but couldn't find the link to them. The link was posted on the insidecarolina.com (sports message board) off topic message board but they don't have a search option or any other way I could use to find the post that I could see.

If I remember correctly the pictures were on some U.K. news website, if that helps at all in your search for them.

The pics were very graphic but didn't say such and such happened in this pic so I don't think they would prove/disprove the dogs biting off the privates off of prisoners but I do remember seeing some pics with dogs and prisioners together in them.

One last thought, who thought it was a good idea to take pics of this stuff to begin with?
