Bank fishing near madison in

I will be working in Madison In for the next few months and am looking for some spots to fish for bass from the bank in the evenings.

I would take a ride up Highway 7 from Madison and hit Crosley fish and wildlife area. There are several ponds off of highway 7 and highway 3. Its between Madison and North Vernon. Its not that far up the road. Some would be better fished with a small boat, but there are some you can walk around. Caught a six pounder from whip poor will lake from the bank a few years back.
