The NEW and REVISED healthcare bill

I heard the Dems have renamed their health care bill after Ted Kennedy. Anybody feel different about it? It makes it even less palatable to me...if that were possible.

WE DO NEED SOME KIND OF REFORM; I have Humana and it *****, I have to fight them for every precp, even generic. My co pays have increased as much as 50% or more. What I pd 5 for last year is now 80$.my rates have went up and my copays even higher and ded. I am glad some people like the way their ins is, I am not the least bit impressed, my premium went up but my coverage went down. People say they do not want the gov controling health care but the ins co's do and they are a FOR PROFIT BUSINESS. The ins co's ditact what meds you can have and what treatments you can have. I cannot belive what bs I hear from people about this health reform. yes some things need tweeking, but we need to do something, some of you do not relize how med bills hurt people, I see it everyday, most people that come in here have been put in a bind due to med bills, even the one's with so called good ins.Common sense needs used in this debate, and all things need considered.

Well remember the crapola these guys fed us about needing to spend all that money on saving the economy? Saving the auto industry? No pork in his bills? (he is a liar to the highest degree) What has that done? Jumping on board with one parties plan just for the sake of "change" is a doomed plan! Why not fix the system not change it? Why get a gubment involved that has bankrupted everything else they touched? Come on man you know exactly what I mean.

We need tort reform not obama care. We need to stop giving free medical attention to illegals and send them back. We need to build up our borders to stop them from coming in. We need ALLOT of stuff fixed not new junk that is doomed from the start.

BTW, how is Mass. and Canada doing with their gubment controlled healthcare?

Everyone would agree there are some very serious issues with health care. But people who think with their brains instead of their emotions know a government run system is not the answer.

3 mths no smokes, Humana dropped my Chantx 1 mth early, but I am holding on. Yes Gov ran health care is not the best answer, but something has to be done and yes DON they need to sew up the borders as the illegals are the ones bringing all the sickness over. ever since I have had to deal with illegals I have had virus after virus, BTW Obama is not the blame on the illegals GWB could have done sonething but he dropped the ball.

I agree some type of reform is needed. Costs are getting out of control. TORT reform laws are needed. This would save tens of billions of dollars each year and it wouldn't come out of the tax payer's pocket. It's not even in the health care bill. Why not? Because the lawyers have the Dems in their pockets. Another way would be to change laws so that people can buy health care insurance across state lines. This would cause greater competition and lower prices. This would cost the taxpayer nothing. Change laws to allow Canadian made drugs to be sold in the U.S. . This would also increase competition and thus lower prices. Again no cost to the taxpayer. The lobbyist from the Pharmaceutical companies are keeping that from happening. There are many ways to accomplish health care reform without dipping into the taxpayer's pocket. Many were suggested by the republicans but not even considered by the Dems. I believe the Dem's agenda is to lead us on the path of socialism. The more each individual depends on the government, the more the government controls the individual.

I want Obama to appoint me Czar of getting rid of illegals.
I would form a small Army for every state and would round them up like cattle LITTERALLY, if they resisted to the point of violence we would shoot them. We ship them all back to Mexico or where ever else they are from. They would recieve a number tatooted on their upper arm. If they return they would be locked up in make shift jails in the desert of the southwest and would work for free doing what ever we needed them to do for at least five years. Then returned to their homeland with a second tatoo. If caught again they would be executed PERIOD, NO EXCEPTIONS!!! There would be liasons that speak their native language to make them understand this fully. Raids would take place at workplaces, homes, Flea markets, lol, everywhere, middle of the night like rabid wolves until they were all GONE!

Now Tort reform, take and tie the hands of these blood sucking lawyers and place restraints and limits and what these thieves could do. Throw ANY and all frivilous law suits out of court before they ever get started.

These two things alone would almost solve the health care issue, and yea it really is that simple. Hell, I'd do it for a song to, I think it would be kinda fun.

Humana made 2.2 percent in profits last year............

STOP BLAMING THEM.

When you paid 5 bucks for it..........someone picked up the other 75 bucks. THAT is the problem............

Now, you're paying more of the REAL COST.......

The hidden costs, and the negotiated costs, are KILLING the system.

If you want to FIX it.........cancel your insurance and PAY the doc YOURSELF.....if EVERYONE did that, then docs would not SCREW you and your insurance company because Manuel or MOEISHA cannot pay.

FIRST...........STOP paying for Illegals........PERIOD........you're here illegal......you get NO government supported healthcare.

That will save about 30,000,000,000 Yes.......that is 30 BILLION dollars.

Next......Tort Reform.......THAT will save another 20 BILLION dollars......
