Just back from Patoka...........I'm fishing it a LOT.......

We stuck to the lick fork area.......LOTS of wind, decent weather.......and managed to catch some fish.

We caught 20 bass today.......LONG DAY......

5 keepers, but nothing over 3lbs.

soft plastics, crankbaits, and spinnerbaits. Actually I wish I was a better spinnerbait fisherman. THEY were hammering my quad spin titanium spinnerbait, but the strikes were pretty short. I know I missed the best two by not sealing the deal.

    Oh well........maybe nexst time.

Thanks all that gave me additional info with regards to WHAT and where to fish.

    Later,

    Geo

The good ones are always the hardest to catch. Fished Hardy Sat. and catch a few decent fish. Had one hooked, and the moment he knew he was hooked, it took the first run, and..........snap, line broke. Not sure what I had, but broke 17lb. FC, and felt like a whale. I guess thats what keeps us coming back every weekend.

More than likely a Musky or Striper at Hardy. Lost a couple baits this year at Hardy to Musky. Vicious beasts. Stripers on the rise there as well.
