Dude, just take your shotgun with you when you go fishing. I always shoot few while bass fishing - KY and Barkley Lakes are all wide open to hunt where ever you want - just stay 200 yards away from any houses and you're golden!![]()

Early goose season starts this Saturday.
If anyone knows of a public spot where they would like a goose or two whacked send me a pm (or just post on here) and I will take care of it for you. (and put a goose in the freezer for Christmas dinner)
Thanks,
BurleyDog

Try John C. Williams WMA. There is a small pond there and I have seen geese there from time to time. Easy access from the road. Check the link below for a list of all WMA's in Kentucky. http://fw.ky.gov/kfwis/wmaguide.asp
Burley, go down to the Cumberland River and you'll get one no problem. Float from Helms to the first gravel bar on the left and you can practically catch one with your bare hands...it'll flog you to death but it's all about the adventure. They fly low. I counted 25 down there the last time at one time standing and swimming around.
We duck hunt on the Cumberland while we fish (in season of course).
