After the brainwashing speech, I will use this site to compare the content....

    http://www.politifact.com/truth-o-me...ess-school-ch/

This site has FULL excerpts of Reagans question and answer session in 1986 with students, and Bush 1's school speech......

I am going to copy BOTH, because the might not be online next week.

    Bush's Speech: http://bushlibrary.tamu.edu/research...=1991&month=10

    Reagan's Speech: http://www.reagan.utexas.edu/archive...986/51386d.htm

I WILL judge for MYSELF it it was a political speech, or an EDUCATIONAL moment.

    Later,

    Geo

What did you think of the two above?

Myself, I thought the Bush one was really good and the Regan one was political.

Do I think the Regan one brainwashed our children? Answer: NO

I think most kids would just see the POTUS and think it was cool/neat that he was addressing them and not give what party he was affliated with a second thought.

I asked a teacher I know if she has recieved any instruction as to next Tuesdays speech. She said she hasnt recieved anything and hasnt been told of any showing of his speech. Guess my kids wont get to see it afterall at school. They can watch it with me at home though. I knew this thing was blown out of porportion and it will be.

It may end up being a good thing , and I hope it does, and all this fuss may seem silly. However, I think most of the problem originates with his past association with radicals and the ones his administration has in it, like the one that just resigned. These associations create a distrust and uneasy feeling with parents who truly want their kids to turn out to be good people, and not about if they end up being dem, rep, or lib. I want my kids to vote for the best person for the job that will represent them and their beliefs and not by party lines. Some of the people in his administration like Van Jones stand for things just about every american despises. It is possible that Obama may be a victim of guilt by assocation. Fair or not that's just what parents do.

Personally for me, I find it EXTREMELY hard to believe that Nobama didn't, doesn't or hasn't known about the past history of some of the people he brought to or attempted to bring into his administration. No slippedcork, I ain't tryin' to pick no Democrat fight here, I just really find it hard to believe. Whether it's a coach looking for players or an employer lookin' for a new hired hand, everyone ALWAYS researches an individuals past history don't they? And if they do not do the required research into a persons past then they're not really doing the job they were hired to do are they, which is to coach, manage, govern or lead.

It's instances like this Van Jones fiasco that gives me the feeling that Nobama would rather his new residence to be called "The Crib" rather than "The White House".

I never agreed with the jones appointment and said so in another post. I agree he should have been screened better. In every presidents admin there are scoundrels that get in somehow and this one should have been found before the appointment.

I will not give the guy a pass on his past associations. He is guilty of terrible judgement with his friends and pastor. He is guilty.....

Guilty....yes. That's why he was sentenced to 4 years at hard labor as POTUS.
