What do ya say that next week, Monday through Friday we post nothing about Obama or ANYTHING political. Let's look at it like a challenge to see what we can talk about for one whole week without venting anything at all about politics.

Wow !! Five whole days.... Sounds great to me. We better start coming up with some ideas of things to talk about ahead of time so people don't snap from the pressure.

I have been keeping quite on all this political stuff layley as all this bickering/name calling/ blaming/ etc etc etc is bringing me down. As we need to unite instead of divide. Any way we need to talk positive things like.???????????????????? fishing deer hunting killing coytes and hunting " cougars" lol. some of you will get that;. Sounds good to me but by Monday this post will be buried somewhere around page 3 and everyone will forget about it so keep bumping it up until then.

And mhall are the one that got Grumy to post that sticky up top about political disscusions? Kind of odd you started this thread.

Also what did I miss that got the sticky there in the first place? Have a funny felling it had something to do with someones reply to one of my post that I made late last night.

Pontooner, no one post nor even several post or posters caused that Sticky, rather it was the result of way too many posts that went too far to be consider civil discourse. Just becase you hear or see something on the radio or TV (like calling someone a liar or a puke) doesn't make it acceptable in civil society.

Would really hate to see the political talk banned but then again I'm not a moderator that has to sift through all the stuff posted.

One more question and you don't have to answer it if you don't think it's appropriate.

Were the post deleted that caused the sticky or it is just the overall tone of stuff that got it put there? I'm asking to make sure I keep my post within the rules because none of mine were deleted but want to see if they need toning down.
