Hit Shanty Hollow for the first time Saturday. The day was perfect, overcast and mild temps. Fish were busting shad all over the shallow end of the lake. Biggest fish came of a buzz in 1 ft of water, holding tight to cover. Caught alot of fish throwing plastics along shoreline cover. Decided to get some dinner at the end of the day, and went trolling for crappies. Did very well with a gold beetle spin with chart jig. All in all, a good day for the first time on the lake.

New, modified jon boat handled like a champ.
