Anyone been on Stoner?

Just wondering the condition. Clarity? Current? Thinking about heading over tomorrow and it's about a 45 minute drive, so I want to make sure its in decent shape. Thanks for any help.

I might be late to help but was there yesterday and it is in great shape to fish.......temp is in the low 60's......strodes is a bit clear....caught some bass on jigs with plastic trailor....heard they were wearin' them out earlier in the week but i seem to miss all those "wear em out days"...lol

I haven't talked to anyone that has fished it in the past week. The water out of ike's is back to normal from the flooding we had there last week. It appears to still be a touch muddy though. I saw a few boats coming in on saturday night so maybe someone can give a report. I know there was alot of debris floating down during the high water we had so be careful if you go. On another note the smallmouth fishing on lower stoner has been great lately.

Thanks for the info guys. Ended up hitting the OH River today out of Maysville instead. Might give Stoner a try later in the week. It's getting that time of year for Stoner. I have always had great success late Oct./early Nov. on Stoner. Not a lot of big fish, but the numbers are amazing.
