    Rod Repair in Bowling Green

I busted out a rod guide insert this weekend and need it fixed ASAP (before Wed). I dont know any rod repair shops in Bowling Green, and wondered if someone could please point me in the right direction. I have replacement tip from the manufacturer, but would like to have it wrapped and put on by someone who is skilled. Thanks.

Did you break the rod tip or one of the guides down on the rod?

I spoke with Andy last night about your rod. If it is a tip not a guide then it is easy to replace but not to wrap if the rod was wrapped at the tip. If worst comes to worst and you can not get it done by someone who knows what they are doing, you can replace the tip and have it wrapped later. Word of advice NEVER heat the rod, heat the tip and never never twist to remove the tip pull straight.

All you need is a lighter, a pair of needle nose pliers (I do or I always burn my fingers LOL), the tip and the hot melt glue. If you can not find someone Andy has my Cell Number call me tonight around 9:00 eastern or 8:00 central.

Thanks for all of the help and suggestions.
It is the rod tip, and it is wrapped unfortunately. I am going to replace it to get me through the weekend, I do have a replacement factory tip. After this weekend, I guess I will send it back to Falcon. Its a Falcon Cara T7 so it is a quality rod that the company stands behind.
