if they have a lift on the dock most take them off to keep them from getting stolen. usually the ones you see left on are the aluminum props the stainless ones wouldnt last long.

when we was at nolin saturday i noticed quiet a few pontoons around moutadier area that were missing props?me and my partner were discussing wether they were stolen or if the owners removed them?looks like it would be a pain to remove and reinstall them for use with the motors setting in 10+ feet of water.when i lived down there i would leave my boat in all weekend, loaded, never took a bait out..now i think i would pull it out everytime.

they're not on lifts just tied to the docks.looks like only way to put one back on would be from another boat or go swimming..i usually don't see any taken off.we were talking about that back in the summer, all the motors trimmed up with the props out and no prop locks on them.
