I do not know where to buy bulk, but I used this line last year and loved it, if you get a snag you can pull the boat over to the snag, it is tough stuff The only problem I had with the line I could not see the line while worming or jigging.

your right, about the strength and visability, but the way we fish w/livebait we watch the runs, usually keep a glove in the boat to brake it
