in the face of monster coorporations and gigantic one-stop-shop stores, there are some courageous few that still open up small private-owned stores. after stopping in one of these today, i felt the need to create a post trying to remind folks to help these guys out. i am not trying to "plug" any one store, but these shops still have a lot of advantages over the box stores. there is a quality of knowledge and service that cannot be replicated at the big boxes. the store i was in had certain products that are not available on the shelf of the big stores. the best part about this store is that their prices are on par with the bigger guys as well. so please don't forget about these guys when you start shopping in the upcoming holiday season. i just felt like i should share.
