Newest Gov't interference with Business!!

How many of you saw on the news last evening that the Obama administration, and house and senate member allies are trying to introduce and ram through a new bill.

This bill will require all employers to pay sick pay to any person who has either the H1N1 virus, or the seasonal flu.

Most big companies that can afford to pay sick pay, already do, now the way this was reported it is all employers that will be affected.

I see two very serious drawbacks:
1) Small business owners likely can not afford this.
2) It will drive up medical costs (which is diameterically opposed to Obama's stated goal). It will drive up costs because testing will have to be done prove the person who is sick has either H1N1 or the seasonal flu. When diagonosed with the flu in the past, my doctor never drew blood and sent it off for analysis, and I doubt that service is free!!

Folks, more and more, under our democratically controled government, we are seeing more and more incursions into the realm of controling all business, and that will eventually lead to total control.

We need to all contact our Senators and House Representatives, and tell them to STOP this NOW!!!

I appreciate the observation, and I'll explain what matters. Many people say that they have the flu, but in fact, don't. This means anyone who is sick, and wants to claim it is the flu, and make their bosses pay sick pay that they normally may not pay, or can't afford to pay, they will have to go to the doctor, have the tests run, and prove it is a viral flu, either the H1N1, or the seasonal flu.
