The snap and Cole hands off to Brandon on the reverse but here comes Lynden the other way and Brandon hands off to him and the field is wide open down the sideline, TOUCHDOWN RATTLERS (my team). My assistant coach asks me "now what" and I said "what do you mean now what, we did not play this entire game to lay up". The ref asks me 1 or 2, 1pt conversion from the 5yd line or 2pt conversion from the 10 and I don't hesitate and say 2. I tell my kids this is the last play of the game and we need to score, did not tell them it was to win or lose because we don't tell the kids that so I was doing this for the parents who are keeping score. All of my players had ran, passed or caught the ball at least 2 times apiece except my son Joshua the little flag pulling madman outside linebacker that he is. He would rather play defense and hates to run the ball but I know he can catch the ball. I call the roll out pass play, line up 4 receivers to the right tell my QB the play and tell him to throw it to Joshua if he is open, if not then to whoever is open. Snap and QB rolls out, my son runs into the endzone and turns around right on que, puts his hands up chest high and QB throws a strike to which Joshua catches it right in the breadbasket, I had a smile that stretched from Frankfort to Holly Creek Marina on Dale Hollow. 2 pt conversion, RATTLERS WIN RATTLERS WIN OH MY GOSH THE RATTLERS WIN. Not bad in 6yr old rolling out passing to just turned 6 yr old for another conversion. That makes 4 completed 2 pt pass play conversions and 5 touchdown pass plays so far in 7 games, pretty good for 5 and 6 year olds. I am proud as the kids did another excellent job.
