I hope you are joking Tyme because this is one of the oldest scams on the books. If you are serious, do a Google Search for"Nigerian Scam" and above all do not respond to the emai.

Grumpy, thanks for the warning but I ain't as stupid as I look. I know it's a spamscam. Just thought it was funny.

His e-mail link is posted in my post so you might want to delete that portion if we have any resident idiots here on the board.

Link removed in time by Tyme.

I did laugh Tyme when you posted that you won. haha I get those ones all the time and another scam from London, England. THey all pretend to be lawyers to give you inheritance money of millions of someone you dont even know. Duh? I always have a lot of fun with them I hit reply and in large block capital letter I let them know that I am on to their little scam and they continue to harass me with this junk I will contact the police and see them rot in prison. I have never heard back from the same one after that. I wonder why?

Gills, I've heard that one should not even hit the reply button. That act alone confirms that they have a valid e-mail address which they will then sell to others.

My spam filter is set to send to spam any e-mail address that is not in my personal accept file. Occasionally I will go to my spam file and peruse addresses and then hit delete, delete, delete. with no response from me to the original sender.

As much as I would like to "mess" with these guys, I find it better to just ignore them. Similar to how I just ignore (ignore list) a certain poster to this board.

Ohhhh thanks for the info about the reply button Tyme. I did not know that. In future, which will be sometime in the next few days I will get one that I won the email lottery of 50 million trillon dollars. I will just delete. It sure is fun to play with them but I will need to practice restraint.

I also add that their letter will be forwarded to [email protected] for investigator's approval.

btw, that is a valid email address of government investigators. For some reason the sender never writes me a "thank you" note. lol

    Re: I won! I won! I won!

Intelligence doesn't necessarily have anything to do with it. The husband of one of my wife's best friends has fallen for at least three variations of this scam as well as two times depositing "good faith checks" and sending the money back to the Canadian Lottery (or whatever it was) to get his millions. He is a retired senior military officer and retired from a second business career. But, according to what his wife says he may be smart on paper but he is as dumb as a rock when it comes to his wanting to make money.

Someone said not to respond or reply to these emails, etc because then tney know they have a live one and, believe me, once someone falls for one of these scams the scammers know where to try again, and again, and again.
