    Lookin' for a recipe

I just bought one of those Jelapeno Pepper racks and I'm looking for a good stuffed Jelapeno Pepper recipe...has anyone here got one?

They turned out pretty well - I used garden grown peppers, mislabeled at the store as green bell peppers, that were shaped like chilis, were kind of spicy but still had the bell pepper taste, there wasn't as a whole lot of tang. That is why I add red pepper flakes.

    Banana Peppers

    1 egg, beaten
    1 tsp salt
    1 1/2 tsp baking POWDER
    2/3 cup water
    1 cup flour
    1 Tbsp vegetable oil
    1 Tbsp lemon juice
    1/2 tsp. red pepper flakes
Many long thick slices of your favorite cheese
    Cooking oil for frying

    Instructions

Cut the tops off the peppers and take out the seeds, if you can not get every seed, it is not a big deal.
Slide the cheese slices down into the pepper.

Mix together baking powder, salt, flour and red pepper
Add beaten egg, water, vegetable oil and lemon juice.
Dip peppers into batter and fry in hot cooking oil (I use a Fry Daddy) til crispy and golden.

Cap and clean out the peppers and fill with cream cheese. Wrap a slice of bacon around the pepper held together with a tooth pick. Place the peppers in the rack and place on the grill.

Taste so good make you want to slap your mama. What time am I to be over?

These recipes sound great! I appreciate it guys...Man I love hot/spicey foods and am looking forward to making a batch or two of these peppers, maybe play around with them a bit till I get some just right for my own taste buds. I also intend to smoke a boston butt this weekend if all goes according to schedule.

Green River Man...hell stop by anytime, I have some cigars that haven't been smoked yet along with some Woodford for sippin'.
