    Deep Fried Turkey

Any of you all gonna do this? I have been doing it for years (missed last year). I will be frying two at work tomorrow and I can't wait to get to eating that tasty bird....It's the best tasting turkey ever! IMHO

I do two every Thanksgiving, one at Christmas, and usually one during the summer. Been doing it for a long time and love the moistness of the meat.

Have you seen those oil-less electric fryers at BPS? Wonder how they perform? Man, I would hate to give up my peanut oil, but that would be a lot simpler, safer, etc.

I heard that was awesome as well but never tasted it. Maybe that will be purchased and tried soon. If it cooks quick and has less fat plus taste good then I'm all for it!

I'll be frying one for the first time this year...I've had fried turkey every year for the past six years because my boss fry's some crazy number of turkeys every monday morning during the week of Thanksgiving, the entire staff brings whatever to go with the turkeys, etc...but fried turkey is the best! I'm not sold on the injections they have out there either, just give it to me fried with no injections.

Just got back buying two turkeys, creole butter, oil and some foil pans---around $70. Gonna do three tomorrow...I only do three with the oil.

OMG! It was so goooood!!! I love turkey cooked like that. Only did two and even used cottonseed oil this time. I couldn't tell a difference between that oil or peanut oil.
