    Bowl games lineup

    http://www.sportsnetwork.com/merge/t...wl_sked_09.htm

That is a site that lists the times and matchups for all of the bowl games.

So what do you guys think? Any favorite, can't miss games.

I think that BSU and TCU both got the shaft, having to play each other. Here they are having to play any comers just to get some respect and to tell the world that they can play and beat the Major conference teams and when they get the chance to prove it, they are put together and get to prove nothing. Put one against Cincy and the other against Florida or something like that.

KY vs. Clemson again, this time I think Clemson will come reay to play. Sam Maxwell will not be playing for the Cats due to impending shoulder surgery and that will really hurt UK's chances of winning, his pass defense is great and he will be sorely missed.

Oh yeah, I think Notre Dame should have accepted a bowl bid. Even if the head coach is gone, they could have used an assistant coach or hired some for the interim coach to cover for a head coach. The players are what this game is about and they are not being given the chance to showcase their skills (or lack of) to the nation. For many of these players, it will be their last chance to play any sort of football ever. Let the kids play the game they love one more time.

It's all about the $$. Notre Dame most likely thought they'd lose money, because with a 6-6 record they wouldn't be playing a great team, so to heck with the kids, they declined it.

Check out the official BCS selection rules:
    http://www.bcsfootball.org/bcsfb/eligibility

Notice which team is the ONLY one mentioned by name? That would be Notre Dame. For years, they've been getting in just because "they're Notre Dame," when other more deserving teams got left out. I'm glad to see them out of there for once, even if it was by their own choice.

College football as far as post season play goes is so broke it will never be fixed. It's a old foggey run tradition based who's who and a real joke in my opinion.

It so needs a playoff system it's not even funny. The one game I find very interesting is the Cincy Florida matchup. I think th Gators come out on top but it's not gonna be easy for them. The Bearcats are for real with solid play on both sides of the ball.
I to get tired of hearing about Notre Dame and all the GLORY years. Give it a rest already, lol.

I agree BSU and TCU got the raw deal. I think Florida and Cinnici is going to be a shoot out. I don't like Cinnici's defense. I think Florida takes them but I would take the over in this one.

Could not agree more. ND and Weiss in particular are riding on memories. Earn the respect and traditon or get out of the way.
