Anyone following the Dale Hollow turnover?

Three things you can count on this time of year...jingle bells, new year wishes, and the mighty Dale Hollow turnover.

I have a good idea when to expect the first 2...but has anyone been following the turnover at the Dale? I heard it was turning over in areas around Hendrick's Creek, and maybe as far west as First Island...any comments are much appreciated!

I understand the area above First Island has turned and the area from First Island to the dam is turning. That was about a week ago. Lot of guys fishing the smalljaw turney this weekend out of House Creek, so hopefully some of them can provide an update on current lake conditions. I am going down Monday for a week of fishing and hoping the turnover is complete! Don't like that brown/black water.

That is about right.........

We also found some turnover or "darker" water in the Obey around Joulett, and Ashburn creek.

Might have been simply dirty water, but it was definitely colored.

Main lake stuff past first island has already turned, or at least looked like it had.
