I first fished lake cumberald in the fall of 1991, I fell in love with it. For two years I never even went to the hollow, even though the distances are the same. I lived in the chicago area of nothern indiana, the fishing was darn good, and I spent a lot of time in lower micigan and upper wisc, Its a blesing to go out here and not see hundreds of lake houses, retricted access, and in the summer crowds as thick as mosquitos. When we got married we knew that therewas a good chance we would be permanent baby sitters, so we started looking for a place to retire. My heart was set on the upper peninsula of michigan, but the agent that sells pro[perty could never get a hold of the guy who was selling what we wanted.Plus the wife was not a snow bunny. I went back a couple of years ago, that secluded lake, looks like a subdivision today. We foplks down here have it nice, you can find peace and quiet, and even catch a few fish now and then. Condos took over the beaches on the big lake, plus security issues closed other areas.Pray that they never sell the TVA to private development.Sure its crowded in the summer, but in late october its Gods country. Monday I saw two boats in six hours of fishing. So thank You COE, and TVA, keep this government owned.

Rich about 40 yrs of shift work, has totaly ruin any sense of decent sleep habits.Plus some of us seniors work on a different time schedule. I get about 9 hours of sleep, split over three time periods. My wife gave up making the bed after the first year we were together. But when I do sleep, the firdt 10 minutes or so are almost like a coma.I've tried some sleep aides, but they work for only a few days at most.

We need to get larry's boat, as u know my boat isnt going to handle 2 people, get his keys an give me a shout, i thought i saw u going toward Ashburn one day this week
It looks like I'll need to buy some shiners if I'm going to catch anything at dale. The FNF isn't working for me, also the lucky lures and silver buddys have caught zero. But maybe I need to fish a little longwer than a couple of hours. Or someone has placed a hex on me.
was larry alone or did he have a guide trip? I know he was going to indy but I didn't know he was going to come back that soon. Glad to see is going out, hje was sorft of bummed out for awhile, and I cant blame, thats some pretty stiff news to hear, but he says thetre is a good chance it can be settled in his favor. He let me have a few scoops of bait last spring , but it didn't do me any good. I did manage to keep most of them alive using salt and my minnow airrater or how ever you spell it.
