    fished ky side,46 and clear.had 9 with about half dozen more bites but could'nt land them.bitting real funny,they would run out and just drop the bait and the next time they take the rod out of your hands(had a few close calls while the rod was laying down digging for something).had a great time with a couple of friends that only get to go a couple of times a year.makes working for those minners worth it(although some puke stole about 500 minners off me this year@#$!).if you see greg sallee tell him that new triton's gonna dry rot soon!!!

    Don't know where you had your minnows stored, but the biggest minnow thiefs I know of are the Otters that have inhabited most of the docks around Dale now. If you didn't have them in a very secure cage, the otters will eat every last one of them. I saw about six of them clean out a 4'x4' wire cage (that was chocked full of shad) in about 3 hours. I do know there are some people that will do this also, I hate a thief worse than anything!!!
