Whats the deal with swap meets?

Maybe I'm just dumb but i see these posted on here all the time. Is it new, used or just as it says, you swap stuff?

The Barren Bassmasters have had one for the past 18 years. Basically it is a new and used tackle and boat accessories show for either one or two days ours is for one day. You can bring items that you want to get rid of, and maybe you can swap it in to offset the price on something a dealer has that you want. Individuals that are selling out their equipment will set up a table and we rent table space to dealers to set up. We had ours today and had about 600 people came thru. We had about 50 dealer tables set up. Hope this helps.

If I am not mistaken, Barren Bassmasters had the first one of these I ever heard of in Ky. There are several others around the state now.

the only 2 that i know of is barren and t-ville and have not heard if they are having the one in t-ville this year ne on know were some more of these are at
