Should make things a little more interesting:
GOP's Brown wins Mass. Senate seat in epic upset

In an epic upset in liberal Massachusetts, Republican Scott Brown rode a wave of voter anger to defeat Democrat Martha Coakley in a U.S. Senate election Tuesday that left President Barack Obama's health care overhaul in doubt and marred the end of his first year in office.
The loss by the once-favored Coakley for the seat that the late Sen. Edward M. Kennedy held for nearly half a century signaled big political problems for the president's party this fall when House, Senate and gubernatorial candidates are on the ballot nationwide.
More immediately, Brown will become the 41st Republican in the 100-member Senate, which could allow the GOP to block the president's health care legislation and the rest of Obama's agenda. Democrats needed Coakley to win for a 60th vote to thwart Republican filibusters.
I'm glad to see some people standing up and making their voices heard!
Looks like the ol truck will be putting on some more miles during the roadtrip to D.C. Bet that would turn some heads lol.
Brown verses Coakley...is Brown that good or is Coakley that bad..OR...it is simply a result of the American people have had enough of the democratic party?
Does anyone know anything about Brown's history?
Awe, the political winds are beginning to blow for CHANGE. God I hate that word now, lol.
I like the slogan he tagged.... The peoples choice!
Hopefully these elected officials realize they work for us and they better start doing that. I still say vote the old timers out get some new blood in there.
Did you know Brown was originally set to be sworn in on the 28th of this month and, the healthcare reform bill can be voted on before he is sworn in? Republicans are scrambling to push his swearing in earlier so he can vote on the bill. Nancy Pelosi was a ball of nerves last night.
His biography is interesting. It should bring out some very lively discussions today and in days to come.
I saw his centerfold picture for Cosmopolitan Magazine last night. It was made when he was younger and, even then, he had Ted Kennedy beat, hands down. lol
He drives an old green pickup truck.
Bikes 12 miles and runs 3 miles every morning.
Is a Lieutenant Colonel in the National Guard.
I'm not doing very well here with his political qualifications. You can read all about Brown at

I hope the Dem Party isn't that stupid! How can they justify that? I heard rumors about that and I guess we never know what this party will do since alot gets done without following Barry's campaign promise of waiting 5 days and posting things on the Al Gore innanet.Did you know Brown was originally set to be sworn in on the 28th of this month and, the healthcare reform bill can be voted on before he is sworn in? I'm changing my political party to GOP so I can vote in these mid terms. I'm so sick and tired of this! Arghhhh
Well I just found out I missed the December 31st cuttoff so I cannot vote this May. I guess being ignorant of the way KY does it hurt me this time. I'm amazed at how pissed I am! Feels like I have been tossed to the curb because of some silly rule.

Just watched Barry say what happened with Brown getting voted in was because americans are angry not only for his year in office but for the last eight. He still blames Bush even when his party loses a seat in the Senate...this guy has lost his mind!
Wow that is a surprise to me that a seat that Kennedy held forever went Republican. And you say it is the most liberal state in the union? Yes it seems the people are speaking out!
