Not in the market for a new boat, but just walking around looking. Any tackle shops have booths?
Nope............The tackle booths have been JUNK for a while now.
The indy boat show is better, but the tackletown section has gone downhill the past few years.

The Lexington Show is going to get better this year
I went for opening night, it was horrible. 50% percent flea market/sales booths, 25% RV's, 25% boats.
Total waste.
Then again, thats just my opinion.
NO
Definitely not worth the $9 admission and $6 parking. Even if it was free, I don't think I'd even go then.
If you want something to go to, try the National Farm Machinery Show in a couple of weeks. I don't farm, but always have a good time looking at the big boy toys! Kids love it too! Plus, it's free except for the parking.
Interesting tidbit here for ya about the Farm show. Night club establishments in Louisville that offer let's saying uh dancing have their best week of the year during that time every year, lol.Definitely not worth the $9 admission and $6 parking. Even if it was free, I don't think I'd even go then.

There was a time when the Louisville boat show was all that...not many people can afford boats anymore I guess. I just can't believe there aren't more boths with fishing stuff!!!
FYI---Look at the Fishing For Kids booth. Selling baits there cheap. Also can buy 100 packs.
Went to the boat show yesterday. If you want to see new bassboats stay home. That was the smallest turnout I have seen. If you need an Rv they have plenty. Although there was a booth at the show selling vaccum cleaners. Seemed a little out of place.
Went Saturday. Took me 3 hours to get thru it all, but that included 1/5 hours eating pork burgers and drinking beer while the dogs jumped in the water.
Man I must have vbeen asleep the passed 10 years......boat prices have gone totally stupid. For the Cost of a 125 Merc, a guy could buy a Kia, and still have $2 grand left over.
