What's the best way to target Walleye's during the winter on lake's, we troll or jig crawler's during the summer on muddy water point's or bank's. What do you do in the winter?
Walleye are a cool water fish so they'll go after a bait a bit faster than say a bass would. Around the same points you fished in the summer try the deeper areas (which can be a relative term LOL) but basically there MUST be food around or there won't be any 'eyes (or likely anything else)
IF you can find the shad (or whatever the prevalent food source is on your lake) the 'eyes won't be too far away and often right below them.

I havent figured them out in the winter myself.I was catching a few out of the Ohio river up until about the first of Dec. but none since.
