I saw the show several years ago it used to be a series I beilive. I would love a job like that. I would like to have Tim Farmers job.

Did anyone see the show on KET last night where this guy traveled the Ohio from like Ashland to the Mississippi? It looked like it was filmed back in the 80's but was pretty cool. Tons of cool facts about the towns all along the Ohio. I thought it was pretty neat.

I didn't see the show, but since you said it looked like it was recorded in the 80's...I think the guy you're referring to was John Ed Pearce. Were they crusing the Ohio in something that looked like a 23' or 24' cabin cruiser? If so, this is probably the same show I remember. They also made a coffee table style book out of their travel along the river too, simply titled: "The Ohio River"
Chub, you're correct!! I'll have to check that book out.. I had to laugh a little as a boat owner myself. They had a prop seal go bad on the boat.. got that fixed only to have the bearing go out.. which they documented as well... LoL.. Boats... Pffftttt.. Thanks for the info!!
Set your DVRs. Its going to be on again Wed at 10am.
You can see it online as well if ya can't wait. Here's the link.

You don't want Tim Farmer's job, believe me. While it seems great to be able to travel the Commonwealth fishing and hunting, you'll never get to take time off during the prime time of the season because you have to be shooting segments. My hats off to Tim and the entire Kentuckuy Afield production crew, they all do an excellent job and I thank them.
