Icouldn't believe it but its true.Mycompanion, a country girl[well she was once], went out and got a large bowl of snow. Added some sugar and milk, and made something like ice cream, she loved it, and the dog agreed with her. It wasn't bad asked her if she could make it in chocolate, she said she dosn't like chocolate. Told her eat her way to the road, 500 yards away. In northern indiana where I came from, snow didn't stay white very long, in fact there was a saying, beware of air you cant see.

Beware of chocolate or lemon snow cream. My mom use to make snow cream; she also used some vanilla extract. If you have chocolate syrup or nestles quick powder; you can spinkle that is what your gal made and have chocolate. Next time I guess.

Here's the sad part ! Eating snow cream is probably safer than eating the toxic fish we catch !

You know this makes me laugh. All the stuff we did as a kid is suppose to kill you know. All these Mercury warnings. We use to bust open thermometers so we could get the Mercury out and play with it. Lead, LOL, Hell everything we had was made of lead. I've been crunching lead split shots shut with my teeth all my life. We ate lead pellets by accident all the time in the rabbits and squirells we killed, sometimes you just can't find'em all, lol.

Sometimes I just wish the Government would shut their pieholes and do something productive for a change, lol.

I wouldn't eat snow cream just because of the junk in the air. But hey I won't eat fish out of the Ohio River either. Some things just don't sound yummy to me....
