No way...no way....Think I just got a bad case of CABIN XXXXX.. and only one cure!! So I got my fix today, but what about tomorrow?
They say it's 45 deg in Kansas for the white bass spawn, we are at 40 on the CR. Not sure how that relates to Kentucky, but if true, we need to see the CR come up another 5 degrees???? Kygorski, throw some wood on the fire!

That sounds right Boone. I know that it was mid march when we really got onto the whites on the CR last year. They say it's 45 deg in Kansas for the white bass spawn, we are at 40 on the CR. OK we got skunked. But spawning temps on the cumberland are no gage for white bass.Well thats not exactly always true. I have caught a few whites through the ice.But that 38 degree water temp at marrowbone was rather extreme.I wonder if that ice we were breaking had anything to do with it?Cabin fever makes even smart guys do dumb things, and I told you ahead of time, I'm not smart!
another thing that was working against us, was a complete lack of current in the creek, that high river water is backing up most of the creeks now.
