I wanted to see if anyone here has ever tried a Whuppin Stick for a crank bait rod. I have heard they do a great job because of them being a fiberglass blank. Just looking for some opinions. I have been trying to find a new crankbait rod to throw medium divers on, but have not found anything I like. Plus spending $30 on a rod seems nice compared to the $100 or more that most of my rods have cost me. I also worry about putting this type of rod on the line in the tournaments that I fish. Look forward to reading everyone's opinion.

7'0" M Ugly Stik Lite Pro. $36.95 at Wal-Mart. The most durable rod ever constructed. And on HECK of a crankin' rod. I paired one with my Revo Winch, and what a crankin' set up.
