Taylorsville lake today

Taylorsville is very low, water color is clear, temp was 43 at Settlers trace, 47 at Van Buren. Several boats out today not much action. Tried minnows and plastics without any luck. Caught a nice channel cat with a night crawler and that was the only fish caught. Spoke with four boats and no one had fish. If you go to Van Buren be very carefull as the water is very shallow around the ramp. There is a lot of bottom exposed and places that are normally 4-5 foot are 6 inches.

Thanks kydonky...good report; was hoping that the water clarity was good. If we can get that temp to 49-52 soon...look out T-ville! Im glad the water is low...past few years, it's been very high and dirty, this time of year...got to have some semi-clear water for success there....or at least that has been my experience. Im excited about getting out there one day this weekend now for sure.
