Heard about it but never did hear what happened. Glad your friend is okay. Stories like this are good reminders to slow it down when we can.

I do not know everyone's name but I would like to personally thank anyone and everyone who helped in saving one of best frieds at Nolin last Sunday in the Bassin USA tournament. It was a very tragic accident and luckily he was not hurt worse. I would like to thank the guys who got to him first, the fisherman who was a nurse who helped treat him at the ramp, even the guy who came up in the boat and gave us ice. They said that ice had a lot to do with help saving his hand.It makes me proud to fish with a bunch of guys like the ones in Basin USA. I know all of you have your best buddies as fishing partners and Adam was one of mine. Please be careful out on the water so you never have to have something like this happen to you. Adam doesn't quite remember everything yet but he thinks he had his trim down and speared a wave causing the boat to do a 360 turn. And I would like to personally thank John and Denis Newton for all of their help and caring they have showed towards Adam. It is guys like you that keep me coming back and I am privilaged to know everyone of you from the bottom of my heart I thank each one of you again and may God Bless each and everyone of you.

I am glad your friend is going to be alright. Your thank you was heart felt and sincere I'm sure this will mean alot to those that were involved.
I came up on the accident after you guys arleady had him loaded up on the boat and pulling away. Glad he's doing well. I would have drove his boat back to the ramp but I assumed his kill switch was still attached to his life jacket.
i hope his recovery goes fast! i talked to John the other day and asked about Adam. He said he got to go home so that is a plus! hope he gets back to fishing soon as possible!
