Fished the 2 creeks behind gwinn island for crappie. Caught a couple and a few shell crackers. Wished I had went up in the river. Fished with minnows and jigs.

water temps 49 to 51 in the creeks. lake is way down. ran up to the hogs back just to take a look and it is 5 foot deep at the pass so be careful. launch fee is $5.00
had no problem putting in at gwinns island. I was told that gwinn island is changing hands again, dont know who bought it. The marina is closed and you have to pay your launch fee at the top of the hill in the box.
