Thats what I wanna hear. Thats the only way to get your arm broke & enjoy it. I hope they stay on fire all next week. I CAN'T WAIT. This trip is all that Austin is talking about, every night he says "one day closer Dad, only ____ days away".

Boys a little bird just told me the Hollow is scorching right now. Lots of huge sacks being caught, big brown ones and green ones. Swimbaits, jerkbaits, cranks are all catching fish.
For those going down get ready sounds like you are going to get your arm broke.

Jason, I hope Austin catches a 6lb brown bruiser. Good luck to you guys and be safe.
One week from Today fellas. Hey Bandit, tell Austin if he catches more fish than me, I am taking those lures back lol!
Boys they are saying it's so easy right now a Cave man can do it.
Swim baits three and four inch on lead heads with exposed hooks.
Jerkbaits suspending, some deep and some shallow.
Crankbaits, lipless and lipped baits. On windy days in colored water some guys are whacking fish on lipless crankbaits.
I'm drooling on my keyboard right now, I wish I could get down there, it's on, these warm days have kicked'em in high gear.
Well a lot of us guys put the fire out! 5hrs of casting swim baits, pointers, rattle traps, not a hit. talked to some guys who were there for 4 days, they got three fish, none keepers. Fished Tn and Ky waters, temps were only 55 degrees, main lake.
Too much sun! Today is the day, front, rain and no sun. Dale hollow DAY!

I heard the "ON FIRE REPORT" from Dale Hollow this time last year. 2 of us went down there mid April and fished hard for 2+ days. We caught a few but nothing to write home about. That's fishin', right? I'm still learning to take the "on fire" talk with a grain of salt. The best days seem to come when expectations are low.
You might want to keep taking the report with a grain of salt. We fished the 30th and 31st and fished hard with crankbaits, jerkbaits, grubs, jigs and a few other baits and other then my partner getting one bit that was hit. We even talked with some guys on Tueseday evening at the motel and they were using live bait and could not get any hits. We had fished a couple of weeks back and it was the same thing but the water was also cooler. Water temp was ranging between 55 and 57 in some places this trip out. I hope you don`t have to worry about the grain of salt and you fill the boat. Best of Luck.
