OK.............the BE CAREFUL part is kinda a joke........
I really wonder if there are natural lions, or if this is a domesticated cat that was let go or escaped, or whatever.......

That one appears to be like the mountain lions we have here, they are far too big to have been domesticated cats. About two miles from where I live, I saw 3 trees that one had scratched on and the marks were about 6 ft high. The man that owns the property told me that two of them comes to his house and eats the dog's food. He has shot at them a few times while they were running but the police told him to stop it because he could hit someone or their house. It is a dense neighborhood of upscale homes. Mountain lions don't have a mane and the ones I have seen are yellow and look like a 100-lb. cat. They kill and eat deer so you can imagine their size and speed.http://www.indystar.com/article/2010...lions-in-state

I was in Alabama and was driving late at night and one ran across the road right in front of my car. Since then they are being seen more often and occasionally we hear of a hunter killing one.
Funny story....I was in my teens hunting in and around the swamps in Florida which has been known to have Black Bears and Panthers. Soooo I'm sitting there with my back against a cypress tree trunk looking into this kidney shaped clearing and hear something coming through the palmetto's toward me. So I'm getting pumped thinking of how great it's gonna be to tag this sum beech. I'm straining my eyes looking for a deer head since thats what I'm after and I'm not seeing anything. I was thinking what?? How can that be?
The noise is getting closer to the clearing which is bordered by a fence and all of a sudden I hear the sound of the fence squeaking. You know the sound if you ever pushed one down to climb over one, under one or through one.
So now I'm thinking it's gotta be a human? What could make that fence do that? A deer would prolly jump it since there was no huge distance under the last string of barb wire.
Never knew what it was but it was smart cause all it did was walk the edge and I never saw it. It was short since it never showed itself and it was smart cause it stayed out of the clearing.
I was a little scared even with a gun! LOLAfter all it could have been **** Cheney hunting for a hunting partner.
