Heading to Cumberland tonight to Walleye fish. Fished Friday night and caught a couple on grubs but they were few and far between. Any of you guys or gals have any suggestions on what to use. She fell in love with the night fishing and the wonderful taste of walleye. Tried the traditional top water jerkbait bite for this time of year but not to good results with that big full moon.
Prayers for all the fallen hero's and there families
Redfin, Gizz4, Sliver and Bomber long A are traditional favorites right now. Just about and shallow stick type bait working a v wake on top will do in a pinch. Try and work dark banks right up against the bank. If you can't get away from the moonlight, work 10-15 feet off the bank. Parallel casting is the key. Good luck.
