Can anyone tell me where on taylorsville lake would be good for bank fishing. I plan to fish for either catfish or crappie. If anyone know of any good spots with underwater brushpiles or any other structure, please let me know

never heard of any walleye, bank fishing I would probable go to van buren area or up to the salt river where it goes into the lake.
Chris
If you go during the week then you could go to the ramp at the state park (Possum Ridge).
Otherwise you would be best to go to the Van Buren Ramp.
I aint ever heard of walleye in Tville. But that would be awesome if their were.
Might actually be going out there tonight.....
Anyone got updates on the dead body situation out there? I caught just a glimpse on the news that they were looking for a body out there.
They still havent found the body yet, said on the news it took 8 days the last time someone drowned to find the body.
I am heading out there around 4 in the morning and bass fishing until about 11. I have caught very small walleye out of the spillway. This was a couple years ago and when we caught one we caught dozens. They were maybe 8 to 10 inches long and bit minnows in the swift water.
i've always seen people fishing around possum ridge and walking down that big hill on the lake side of the dam.
never heard of any walleyes being caught out there or in the spillway but i have seen people catching sauger in the spillway. i would imagine they swim up salt river from the ohio when its flooded.
Thank you guys. Seems like van buren is the spot. I'll try it this weekend if weather permits.
yes.there are some walleye in the tailwater area. caught some a few years ago there ,they were hitting a small spinner bait at night.
