Good Music and Singer

In the post "Deaf in the Future" there was mention of several types of music and singers and I just came accross another one I want to mention.

I was cleaning out my Van, getting ready for my trip to Michigan, and took a bunch of my CDs out the Van. I went through my stack to see what I wanted to take with me and I found a CD with songs by Mahalia Jackson, the famous gospel singer. Although I am not a fan of gospel music, I had to stop what I was doing and listen to it again.

That lady had more feeling and talant in her little finger than most of today's singers have in their whole body.

My favorite song by Mahalia is "His Eye is on The Sparrow." I have a couple of her CDs and they are great.
