Smokey Valley Lake aka Carter Caves report?

Just curious if anybody has fished the lake this year for bass. I know they dont have a minimum length now and was curious if the lake is worth fishing anymore. Also curious if has any grass in it anymore.

I am only about 15 miles from the lake but haven't fished it in about 40 years.One neighbor does good fishing bluegill.Think they have regulations on the lake that differs from other lakes in the state so you may need to call the park or the game warden.Here is a link with a little information.http://www.kdfwr.state.ky.us/app1/Wa...&atype=*&CID=*

Yes there still is plenty of grass. Fishing isn't as good as it used to be but it still has some good days. Might be a worth the trip and if it isn't producing you can pack up and head to Grayson or Greenbo for the rest of the day.
