    Jesse's trip to Dale Hollow

I had the pleasure of spending half a day on the lake with Jesse Kallembach from Indiana. He's battling leukemia and probably the toughest person I know.At 12 years old he has as much passion for Dale Hollow and fishing in general as the rest of us.Some people would give up facing the problems he faces but he's a fighter and has always had a great attitude.I first met Jesse last fall for a great day of fishing....http://i467.photobucket.com/albums/r...ral/oct045.jpg http://i467.photobucket.com/albums/r...ral/oct046.jpg http://i467.photobucket.com/albums/r...ral/oct049.jpg http://i467.photobucket.com/albums/r...ral/oct104.jpg http://i467.photobucket.com/albums/r...ral/oct051.jpg Here are a few videos from the last trip... http://s467.photobucket.com/albums/r...ent=oct119.flv http://s467.photobucket.com/albums/r...ent=oct121.flv http://s467.photobucket.com/albums/r...ent=oct123.flv http://s467.photobucket.com/albums/r...ent=oct122.flv We hit the water Sunday morning for some smallie and trout fishing. The night before he had seen a gar swimming around the dock and told his dad ,Chris Combs, that he wanted to catch one of those toothy critters...the fishing was slow but we did get fourteen on and here are a couple. My camera was broken so my net man Eric took some pics for me. http://i467.photobucket.com/albums/r...l/DSC01842.jpg http://i467.photobucket.com/albums/r...l/DSC01839.jpg Eric had never caught a smallie so after Jesse and Chris headed back to Indiana we went back out to see if we could do something about that.http://i467.photobucket.com/albums/r...l/DSC01844.jpg http://i467.photobucket.com/albums/r...l/DSC01845.jpg http://i467.photobucket.com/albums/r...l/DSC01846.jpg and then he got what we are all looking for a 21 on his first outing, some people have all the luck.http://i467.photobucket.com/albums/r...l/DSC01848.jpg Hey y'all, take someone fishing who needs and deserves it.Someone who couldn't do it on their own.The rewards are unbelievable.See ya out there. Dave On a down note, when we were out fishing, some jerk cleaned out Chris's bass rig in the parking lot,I know it wasn't a smalljawer but watch your stuff even at Horse Creek.

What a fine looking young man. I pray God will help the youngster through this. His smile holding those big brown fish was priceless.

WAY to go for putting him on some good ones!

Jesse had a blast, and hasnt stopped talking about it since. we really enjoy your company, fishing experience, and the knowledge about Dale Hollow Lake, not to foget the countless huge fish we pull in!.. I could never find a better vacation spot than what Ive found on your boat. Its the greatest!
