Barren River Lake Hybrids help

Any suggestions on how to fish for the hybrids on Barren. Going down this weekend and would love to have the kids hook into some of these fish. Any help is appreciated! Thanks.

Troll some pet spoons or redfins about 16-18 foot deep around baily's point and watch your sonar.

Don't know about Barren, but hybrids are in the jumps at Rough. Last hour or so before dark and first hour or so after sunrise. Be near the dam and keep looking. Fish are chasing small fry (about 1" or so) so you need to match the hatch. Small Kastmasters, inline spinners, and minnow lures will all work.

u can cheat by taking chicken liver and go between islands at nite lol mark them on ur graph and u will hit them pretty easy lol other then trolling like the guys said is pretty productitive

You can troll cranks or even nightcrawlers around the islands, bailey's point, and the hogback. I usually see the jumps over and around the hogback. To fish them throw some kind of zara spook type thing or a suspending jerkbait in a shad pattern.
