Has anyone been to this lake lately, if so would you be so kindly as to give a struggling fellow fisherman a clue what to throw and where. I have a little club tourn there Sat. Thanks in advance![]()
Although, I have been struggling there too; some of my members have been doing well. From what I have gathered, the crankbait bite has been very good. Also, finesse worms and other soft plastics have been working. As far as areas, guys have been pretty tight lipped. But, I believe points and out deeper off the banks have been the ticket.
I have a USA Bassin tournament to run there this Sat. 26 from 6am-2:30pm. We have an average of around 20 boats going for the year.
What time is your club event and do you know about how many boats to expect?
You could checkout our www.usabassin.com website Divisions "KY-10 Guist Creek" and see the weights we have been having. That will give you some insight into what it is taking to win right now.
There are some really good fisherman on this board; hopefully some of them will offer some help as well!?
