KY Lake/Barkley Report

Anyone have a report for Barkley/KY...I read Dave's report just wondering if anyone had anything to add to it? Heading out there today after work....

Texas rigged 10" plum powerworms, green pumpkin jigs, and green pumpkin shakyheads on the ledges when current is low. Switch to DD22 or Strike King 6XD in sexy shad when there's current. Also, there are some decent fish hitting topwater shallow early and late, but the numbers haven't been the greatest. Good luck.

My grandson and I had a 1/2 day trip booked with Dave Stewart on Tuesday. Tried topwater for about an hour and half with minimal results. Dave put us on a ledge to show my grandson the Carolina rig technique. In addition to several shorts to keeper size, my grandson put a 7 and 8 in the boat within 45 minutes of each other. Great day with an excellent instructor!
