KY River

Has anyone been fishing the KY river between locks 1 and 4. May be headed there tomorrow, bass fishing mainly.

I was down around lock 7 and it was muddy. I know that's way up river, but thought I'd report.

frankfort pools look great (above and below lock 4) . havent bass fished but heard of some good catches. bluegill and channel cats are biting good on night crawlers along the bank around wood. caught a bunch last week. water temp was 82 to 84. level was perfect, stained but not at all muddy.

Fished below and right above lock 1 Sat and Sun. Not much going on unless your fishing for catfish. Water Temp around 80.5 degrees. We caught one good bass, two small ones and two catfish.
