I got to night fish solo Fri / Sat on the big lake and found the bite on the slower side. Not much current and the lake temperature was up there and I felt like the numbers of fish active on the rock bars was light. I caught 10 to 15 fish each night fishing until 2 or 3 am and although not great numbers I caught some pretty good quality fish including a 5# LM Friday, several 3s, and lost a bigger LM Saturday at the boat and had another break off. Spinners were better than tubes or jigs this time which is backwards for me on a typical slower bite. Still great to get out and hear the coyotes and screech owls plus see the real milky way while stretching my line out here and there. I look forward to the dropping of the lake...
