My dad and I went out Saturday night looking for some LM. We fished from about 8 till around 3. The fish were biting slow and finicky. I started out throwing a shallow running crankbait for a bit. I had one short strike me right at the boat and that's all the action that I had on the crankbait. Dad tried a little bit of everything. Spinnerbait, shakey head, jig, and plasics. He ended up with NILL. I finally wised up and switched to a green pumkin speed craw and managed to bag 6. 5 were under the slot. The biggest was in the slot. maybe 14in. Maybe. Overall, it was just good to get out on the water.
