i just wanted to post the great service i recived from kistler rods in TX. i had broken a rod about 18 inches down on a hookset of a small fish. i called them up and they had a brand new rod to me in 4 days (2 buisness days). even sent me the packet and told me to send back the reel seat and handle. great service from them, so i thought i would let you guys know. some places have so many hoops you have to jump through you get tired of even dealing with it. i have 6 of their rods and this is the first time i have had this happen that wasnt my fault.

I broke a Kistler rod last week on a hookset....did you have to have sent in the warranty for them to send you a new rod....I bought the rod new but didnt get the warranty with it....I was just going to chalk it up as another lost rod but you have given me hope....shoot me a PM if you don't want to write the details on here

Bought a Kistler Argon several months ago on eBay and broke it the first time I used it. I called them and they said that because it was no longer made, they would send me a Helium LTA to replace it. Had it in a few days. They send an envelope with it and asked that I cut the six inch section above the reel seat with all of the rod details back to them. Great deal for me. The only complaint I had was that it took several calls and emails before someone called me back.

I love kistler rods. All my Rods are Kistler rods and all my reels are pflueger reels. Love the combinations that i have put together. I have 3 argons, 4 magnesiums, 1 micro magnesium, and a z bone. Guys the z- bone is one hell of a rod. WORTH THE MONEY! Lightest rod Kistler has ever made. The service is top notch also. There sometimes hard to reach on the phone but they always call you back if u leave a message. ***** they stopped making the argon, I love that series of rod. I wish they would make it again.
